Any chance we can find fishable water by Saturday? Would like to give it a try if there is any chance. HELP!

Love fishin walleyes up north, smallmouth or trout NE IA or hunting rings.

I was up last saturday and they had over 2 inches of rain that week and South Bear was running clear. It doesn't look like they have had that much this week. Let us know if you decide to go up and how you do...
Hope this helps

Just got off the phone with my brother, who lives in Elkader. He went to South Cedar and Buck Creek this morning. He said everything was chocolate milk and unfishable. He didn't bother going to Sny Magill, since they have done a bunch of bank work this year, the stream muddies up fast due to the bare dirt that they left at the stream improvement sites. Hope this helps, I have no idea what the Highlandville area got for rain.

It's exactly what I asked for, but not quite what I want.....

Just back and fished N. Bear, S. Bear and Coldwater. Coldwater just very slightly stained. The bears were low and crystal clear. Fishing was excellent everywhere. Mostly rainbows but a few browns and one brookie. Lost a large brown on Coldwater. It was very windy Friday and Sat. but it didn't seem to affect fishing that much.
